This project aims to develop a mobile application named SnakeAlert to detect and collect snake sightings for the general public on mobile platform using crowdsourcing techniques. This information is displayed in SnakeAlert to help users avoid areas with snakes, raise awareness and make better travelling decision. SnakeAlert includes a map to visualise snakes sighted within a country or a region, a snake recognition model, and a snake reporting function.
