The Pet Identity program (petidentity.org) offers two mobile applications namely Pet-ID and Pet Medic used by pet owners/caregivers and pet veterinarians resp.
After activating the Pet Medic app and having access granted to a pet dossier, veterinarians are able to view the dossier and maintain the medical details, vaccinations and consults history.
A pet dossier is identified using an Identification code generated by Pet Identity portal and is assigned to each pet profile using Pet-ID app. Filling the Identification code or scanning its qr-code allows an authorized Pet Medic app to retrieve the pet dossier.
