I have been using this app for over 3 years on a Samsung Galaxy S4, and it worked fine. Recently, I upgraded to the Galaxy S8, and it seemed like there was no easy way to transfer my data to this app. Forget the export/ import method in SQLite I was successful in getting my data to transfer on my S8, by exporting the database as a .csv spreadsheet file. Importing was a little tricky. You have to follow the prompts and pick the right date format. It will tell you if the date "parses " properly. BTW, you can still have two cars. I had 110 entries, and all carried over exactly as listed on my old phone, and statistics were exactly the same. The menu button is on the bottom right, with three small dots. Good luck.
Good, but... This app works well for what it's supposed to do, but the creator of the app no longer exists. His website is gone and he does not reply to e-mails. As such, it is starting to lose compatibility with newer devices. On my Samsung Galaxy S5 the app has lost the ability to access settings, so it still sort of works but is very limited. I would highly recommend finding a new app that is still actively being developed.
Great App! Have been using it for almost a year, and it is an awesome way to track and maintain cost, mileage, and fuel efficiency data. The fill-ups ARE editable individually, contrary to some other reviews. Plus, you can export to a csv and view or edit in Excel. I have also checked the calculations (miles driven/gallons consumed) and they have always been spot-on. Only issue I have found is that when exporting to csv, the dates are sometimes intermittently hashed out (####). Configuring and setting up the service intervals is also a great feature-- I don't need it, but Wifey sure does! All in all, a great app, VERY useful, very functional, and FREE!
No updates Good app, but it's missing some good updates, like fixing the buggy vehicle edit screen and service interval (you can't edit one, since it resets all fields when opening the edit screen). Hope it gets better.
Decent mileage app I like that the app automatically colors entries based off of averages on mileage. Interface could use a little work. Was mildly annoyed by the fact that partial fill ups don't get calculated correctly for gas mileage. Still looking for a better app.
I love the app, BUT... I've been using the app on my HTC One M7 for a while now, but I just upgraded to the HTC Ten. I exported the data from my M7, transferred it to the new phone, went to import it...except I can't. It isn't possible. The menu button in the lower right corner doesn't exist when installed on this phone! Hope to see it resolved with the next update, so I can add more stars to my review.
Restored functionality to donut users. Sorry about that!
