Without root there's some things missing and it really needs an intuitive user guide with commands and their variables that you can enter and what they do. It definitely doesn't go behind CDNs though from what I've seen and the IP addresses can be off because of that. Also it reads strangely on LTE as non root but likely due to that in itself. Being able to save the packet capture is beyond useful for testing and logging purposes though and you can't really find anything else that will do that.

Well intentioned but lacks fundamental functionality to be of much use in practice. App is incapable of seeng past Content Delivery Networks so is unable to provide actual Fully Qualified Domain Names (i.e. The ultimate source/destination. So if your clients are, say, being served Web content via the likes of Cloudflare or Akamai this app won't give you the real source of the packets, only hundreds of cloudflare ones. not much point in that really. A bit disappointing, especially for the cost!

Used to work for me. For unknown reasons root capture no longer works on my Oneplus 7Pro
