Neat idea, but let-down by no Linux support. An application like Evernote is only as useful as the service behind it, and the service behind a concept like Evernote is only as useful as the availability of an application or program to connect to said service... Which is where Evernote fails - it is not natively available for Linux-based operating systems (such as Ubuntu). Sure, the Android application works well enough - but when the only way to access Evernote under a Linux-based operating system is via a Web browser, it quickly looses its appeal.
Great App For an Organized Mind I have had an on again off again relationship with evernote. But I recently dove back and when I did it was all the way. I became a premium user for the added features. The upgrade is not for the casual user. I will gladly pay the annual fee to support this company and ensure it sticks around. Great way to integrate your paper notes with your digital life.
I've used Evernote since the 90's! I have loved Evernote since my first computer! I was thrilled to have it on my first personal organizer! I don't know what I'd do without it. It keeps getting better and easier to use, I recommend it to everyone I know and I know you will love it too!
night mode The iPhone version has night mode, why can't the Android version have it too? It is a real necessity. At least let us change default colors, green on white is hard on the eyes, particularly on links.
Well-rounded My only qualms are: 1. Adding graphic elements is a drag (even with my Note 4 stylus); 2. Still no support for LTR languages.
Quite useful I use this app primarily to take notes during lectures. However, it is also helpful when I need to highlight things I've read (simply copy & paste). And I've used it a few times to send out memos to other users in my workgroup. Nice organizational tool!
* App shortcuts: search, take text notes, audio notes, and camera notes directly from the home screen
* Note stats: view word, character, line, and paragraph counts for your notes
* Improvements to auto-focus in our camera
* Squashed a bunch of bugs!
