Useful software, but lacks customization options Insanely handy once you have it installed on all your devices, but the layout / user interface cannot be personalized at all. Kinda like Apple software, it's a "one size fits all" format. I like to be able customize the software to suit my needs, but this isn't possible with Evernote.

Premium User Took me a while to get used to it. Now does everything. Document scanner, CRM, bills, to do, research, study. All cross platforms (I prefer Android phone, have iPad and use a PC). Seamless linking. 5/5 stars easily.

Night mode, links Wow, widgets have a dark theme, but the main program doesn't? Night mode is basic, in my view. One more thing, when will link creation be enabled on Android, not only on windows? Thanks

It's a Lot! This is the second time I started Evernote, a beautiful, thoughtful app full of stuff!! I don't need that much stuff! I need a simple notepad where I can type my notes and lists, date everything, set up files, file stuff away, done, next problem. This app isn't for me It's too much. Have to find a simpler app.

Great This is the only app I use to keep track of notes that include my work schedule, lyrics to songs sung in my church choir, etc. I wouldn't know how to organize myself if it weren't for Evernote. I'm also very happy the update discontinued the use of SKITCH. It was annoying for the app to pop up when I clicked on a picture I uploaded to a note. Now that it's gone, I can look at the picture without an outside app requesting a download first. Great job Evernote Team!

Nearly perfect Excellent lightweight, general note taking app. Don't expect it to do everything, but expect it to do most things, and do them well. The UI is a little clumsy still (e.g., the use of stacks) but there is steady progress. Capabilities between mobile and desktop versions vary too much. Significant formatting bugs exist between desktop and mobile which remain unfixed after years. The other thing I wish was better is copying and pasting from Evernote to other apps, which is often imperfect. Also, I think they need to switch to support a wider subset of HTML5 for note content.

Neat idea, but let-down by no Linux support. An application like Evernote is only as useful as the service behind it, and the service behind a concept like Evernote is only as useful as the availability of an application or program to connect to said service... Which is where Evernote fails - it is not natively available for Linux-based operating systems (such as Ubuntu). Sure, the Android application works well enough - but when the only way to access Evernote under a Linux-based operating system is via a Web browser, it quickly looses its appeal.
I fought it, but I'm glad I gave in!! Several of my friends and family members told me how great Evernote was, and I didn't believe them. Now that I've been using it for well over a year, I have to leave a review. For a control freak like me, this app is wonderful!! So versatile and customizable, easy to organize across all my devices... it's awesome!!
Logical Layout Needs Great Widget Important sync abilities allows information to flow across multiple devices is great, but who can't do that these days? This feature actually is extremely useful and Evernote keeps it rather simple. The "layout", or structure, behind the app is logical and therefore easy to use, although it does not bode well for notes on the fly. Developers, please make different Widget options. MUST create a widget to type directly from/on/into Evernote from the homescreen - this will facilitate quick note taking
Editor on android still crappy I like Evernote. But the app for Android needs more work. Don't get me wrong it has improved loads but I still cannot understand why it cannot deliver simple functionality eg inline editing of notes added via other interfaces (eg. Web browser editor). I frequently edit notes first via the web browser editor and then pick where I left it on the go. Editing, on the phone, notes which were originally formatted via the web editor is really buggy, splitting the note in chunks...
Extremely useful I've been using Evernote for a couple of years now; it's one of the very few apps that do not bore me after a while. I find it extremely useful for a bunch of stuff: taking notes, writing checklists, setting reminders, scanning documents (AWESOME feature!). Everything gets well organized thanks to notebooks, stacks and tags; this way everything is very easy to find through search. A great app!
indespensible but buggy Cannot edit a new note created moments before. When opening the note it goes blank, then a few minutes later says cannot acquire note lock.
Fantastic and Helpful I find this app so helpful. I have the paid version, wouldn't really want the free version, as I love being able to take photos of business cards and turn them into contacts. It also has the ability to find text within PDFs, which is also extremely useful. I will give it 5 stars when Evernote finally gets location-based reminders.
Great little app! Easy to use and understand, simple layout, and works great on my PC as well. I can take quick notes or take a picture from my phone, then hop on the computer at the end of the day and get all the formatting and editing done from a full keyboard. Will definitely be using this for a long time!
Up there with the Best This is a re-review of the app and I've been pleased. The clipper is a great tool, be on the desktop or mobile browser. Note taking has definitely improved and it's now competing with Word and Docs. If only there was additional storage service like OneDrive or Google Drive, it would be my go to app for day to day documents. For now, it is my go to app for clipping articles and taking notes while travelling.
Best in class modern day notepad Excellent google notebook replacement. Accepts modern day webclipings and multimedia stuff. Snapshot is a good photo log or album.
Needs mind map function Incorporate a basic mapping function within notes and you're the best.
