Neat idea, but let-down by no Linux support. An application like Evernote is only as useful as the service behind it, and the service behind a concept like Evernote is only as useful as the availability of an application or program to connect to said service... Which is where Evernote fails - it is not natively available for Linux-based operating systems (such as Ubuntu). Sure, the Android application works well enough - but when the only way to access Evernote under a Linux-based operating system is via a Web browser, it quickly looses its appeal.
A good app but I wish it had more features useful for writers The description claims that the app shows the character, word & paragraph count but I dont see this info. If it's there, it needs to be more easily visible. Also, I suggest that you make it possible for us to create sub-category notes under each note, in order to represent the scenes of a chapter. I also want to drag notes in order to organize them. Last, how about adding some mind maps, timelines, pyramid charts, T-charts & venn diagrams in order to make it easier for visual thinkers to record information?
A suggestion Hi, I'm using evernote from many years. I've found it quite useful. I never had an issue with this app however I do want an improvement in the app. Because when editing a long note when I touch edit button it starts editing from top or centre of the note and also cause some gliches sometimes. what i want is to have an option to start editing at the end of the note automatically so I don't hv to scroll all the way to the end of the note to write a single word. Thanks
I'm very bummed that Evernote just decided I can only sync my notes across TWO devices unless I pay them ten dollars per month. No way! I'm going to uninstall it and get something I can access anywhere and everywhere. Don't need all the other bells and whistles. Goodbye Evernote!
Paste causes font size increase This glitch needs to be fixed. It came with a recent overhaul of the app, maybe around September 2016. Instead of copying and pasting within a note, I now just retype what I was going to paste, which is stupid. But I don't want two different size fonts in my document, because it lends emphasis to random phrases.
Evernote is great! I use it to clip everything that's inspiring or thought-provoking (or tasty). I also keep creative project notes and artistic reference there. Forever! One of my nitpicks is that I can't seem to uncheck the "use GPS" option in settings. What's up with that? I use this app every day. I'm rarely this satisfied with anything.
