Been using this for years. Now moving on I've been using this since I got my first Android device and have found it very handy for notes, web clippings etc. that I want to be able to access whenever I am. I had a Premium account at one point but my requirements didn't warrant maintaining it after the free period. Now, with the 2 device limit, I'm voting with my feet and returning to One Note and Google Keep. The Evernote website is blocked at work while the others aren't, which is a nice bonus.
Good Whilst It Lasted I am probably one in the smaller group of users that used Evernote for its simple note taking and organizing capability. Since the change in pricing and limitations to two devices, I was forced to migrate to OneNote. If you have more complex note taking needs, Evernote is for you. It is my hope though these American companies get over their enthnocentric view of the world and meet international users at their respective pricing levels.
Poor business practices... Evernote is a nice note taking app that's is functional and user friendly. However, as a basic user, I am angered by the company trying to extort $70 a year from me, simply to allow me to access my notes on more than two devices. There are free solutions available with the same functions, and access my notes on unlimited devices. Sorry Evernote, I liked your app but it's not worth $70 a year for a basic user. Honestly, I might have paid $5 or $10 a year because I did like the app. Good bye Evernote.
Excellent program for writing notes. Specially syncronizing is great, tags. Absolutely fits my needs. However, I need only texts note and from this point of view it has no sense for me to pay 35 $ a year. I would be willing to pay 20 $ a year max. If you do something with it I believe you would get many more paying customers.
Bloatware I hate this bloatwear, and unlike other pre-installed apps, you can't disable it. It also set up an account for me, that you can't see delete even when contacting them via the website. Unethical business in my opinion. Just noticed this review was removed, but thankfully I saved it in a better note app! Guess they don't like criticism... Evernote responded to my hate feedback so I'm giving them an extra star. So don't want it thoughh!
Great app and been using it for a long time but I'm no fan of subscriptions. I've just been told that from tomorrow I'll be able to use it on two devices. That's all I'm using it on now but I don't like the subscription model. If they were to charge a one-off then I'd consider it but monthly.... ha! I'll just look for something else. The reminders are not up to scratch anyway and I've moved my notes to local storage in preparation for the next new kid on the block. I'll continue to use it so long as it's convenient but I'll never pay a monthly sub... that's the pits.
Fixed a bug where extra spaces would appear in the note
