Needs some work A fantastic app. It's given me some great ideas as well as the means to act on them but there are a few things that could be worked on. The most obvious one I came across was a bug where my saved recipes (an excellent feature) were copied to my cookbook numerous times. Another feature I'd like to see is a savoury/sweet search option as well as maybe a recipes of the day option when browsing so I don't have to work through all the recipes I've already seen. Still worth it if you have a passion to cook though
I keep recipes in Evernote; this is a useless addition How can anyone find this useful without search? In Evernote I can search by the tags I've added to the recipe and/or search for wording within them. I use Evernote Web Clipper to find, tag, add comments, and save new recipes. I create food pictures within a new Note or via a forwarded Swarm/Foursquare checkin. I don't get it.
Needs to be a little better Should be able to share with family/friends. You have to input in evernote then it syncs too it. Eh, it should be able to stand alone and function as a recipe book. Or I should be able to enter a recipe in food with a set recipe template. Would be nice to have a conversion added too if I wanted to lower the serving size. I'm not getting this app to search for recipe, I have the internet for that.
Great app. Missing a few key personal settings. Great app to document your recipes and have them in hand when you want to revisit a dish you enjoyed. Also able to access hundreds of recipes from all types of foods. And if you don't find what your looking for, you can be directed straight to a site that does! What I dont like is that I can't set my account to a VEGAN or VEGETARIAN setting that will rule out any recipes with ingredients I don't eat. And more ways to personalize my recipe search. This would turn it into 5 stars absolutely.
Worst Evernote app ever! Recent update STILL doesn't allow you to use a shared notebook where you and you family store recipes (premium members take note). They finally did add tags support, so it no longer picks up non-recipe notes from your notebook. Good news for the non-family foodies, at least.
Helps me remember what and how I cooked! Love this app!! Not only it reminds me how I cooked some of my dishes, because I always change it, I get to be inspired by others delicious and creative meals.
