It's good for the things it does, but doesn't solve for all the variables. You can't use this if the interest rate is the unknown and you can't use this if the number of payments is the unknown. I was looking for something to replace the finance app on the t-i 84 calculator, but this won't be a complete replacement for that feature.

Deaperately needs an option on cashflow calculator for number of periods next to each added cashflow. If I have 360 months i dont want to type in 360 rows if it is the same amount in all of them. I should only have to input two rows, one at time zero, and one for the next 359 pmts. Outout should include NPV and IRR calculations

I could find no way to enter negative amounts. For example, to calculate the remaining balance of a mortgage after 5 years. To perform that calculation, the payment must be enteted as a negative value.

We regret the inconvenience; Since we have separated the calculations for present value of annuity and future value of annuity into two screens, it is possible to solve annuity problems without entering negative values. See the help screen for instructions on how to use this app.
