About this app

Silentum silences your phone for a set time — and guarantees the sound comes back.

One tap. Pick 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 4 hours and your phone goes quiet immediately. Tap again to add more time (15m + 15m = 30m left). One button restores sound the moment you need it.

• Guaranteed auto-restore — sound returns exactly on time, even if you close the app, lock or reboot the phone, or change the clock.
• Truly one tap — no dialogs, no setup on the happy path. Home-screen shortcuts for 15 min / 30 min / 1 hour / Restore.
• Uses the system Do Not Disturb, so it silences calls, messages and every app's notifications at once — no per-app setup.
• No accounts. No ads. Nothing runs when no timer is active.
• Dark, distraction-free design.

Perfect for meetings, naps, films, studying — or anytime you need predictable quiet without forgetting to turn sound back on.

Silentum needs Do Not Disturb access (to switch silence on and off) and exact-alarm permission (to restore sound precisely on time). It never reads your notifications, messages or contacts, and your sessions never leave the phone.
Silence your phone for 15 min to 4 h with one tap. Sound always comes back.

What’s new

New: quiet hours. Set a schedule (weekdays 23:00 to 07:00, say) and the phone goes silent by itself. Need sound tonight? Skip the next time, just once.
If Silentum has no Do Not Disturb access, a notification says quiet hours didn't start.
Settings → Transfer data saves your quiet hours, history and settings to a file and opens it on another phone.
Fixed: with calls allowed through, alarms and music were muted too.
