Great app! The UI is beautiful and simple. It is really functional in almost all areas. There is only one thing that seems to consistently glitch, and that is the distinction between the harmonic octave and the harmonic unison. When practicing intervals it is almost impossible to hear the upper octave sometimes because it blends in with the overtones of the pitch. This makes it sound like unison, when in reality it is an octave. If it was easier to hear the octave consistently that would be amazing.
I like to sing "and" I am a computer programmer. This is a beautifully written application and so user friendly. I found out why sometimes I don't like my singing. I don't hear intervals well. Through practicing with this app, I am improving my ability to hear. Awesome!
Even the free version is amazing. Sure, it doesn't have everything but im thinking of upgrading. Never done that with an app:) must be good...
Everything you need to improve all facets of music theory and ear training. I thought I would need multiple apps to cover this range of topics, but this does it all in a consistent, responsive, and well designed package. Well worth all the in app purchases I've made, I'd pay $10+. More than deserving of 5 stars. Get this!!
I love the interval and scale training. I'm not too fond of the rhythm exercises, but I still give all stars just for the interval and scale training.
I am trying to learn music theory and this app is just clean and straightforward. Highly recommend.
