A Google User

Really good! Smooth, fast, very good app, really easy to use.

SYED TANVEER SHAH

I LIKE IT NICE IT HAVE THE FACILITY TO CALCULATE THE FRACTIONS ALSO (1010.110, 234.45 etc.), AND THE OTHER INTERESTING IS THAT HAVE ANY BASE CONVERSION (FROM 2--20)

Ryan TTC

Does not convert floating point numbers to other bases, even base 10. It just crashes on me... Please fix as soon as possible.

John Doe

Great, but lacking It does perfect with whole numbers, but converting fractions especially to below base ten causes it to glitch

Owen McGrath himself

Very good only one I have seen This is a very good app and the only base converter that can also calculate things but it would be even better is you added more functions like trigonometry and stuff

James Irizarry

Great Been working on cryptography and this is the strongest multiple base calculator i have found.

User reviews

Really good! Smooth, fast, very good app, really easy to use.

New to This I don't currently have any reason to study bases but I'm bored so I am... And I really like this app... though it took me a while to find it on the play store... However I think I found an error :( 1 ÷ 10 base-12 = 0.01, 0.01 × 10 base-12 = 0.1 :. 1 = 0.1 base-12 (Resulting in broken maths and the end of the world, etcetera, etcetera...) If I'm being foolish then I'll remove the comment and beef you up to 5 stars but otherwise... dunno what's going on here. (This gets even weirder with base-16)

Hi Josh. There was a rounding error in the code that was causing this bug. I have fixed the error and will be in the next release(very soon). Thanks for using Any Base Calculator and feel free to email me at kinger9120@gmail.com if you find anything else wrong. Let us know if there is anything we can do to get 5 stars from you. Thanks! Hi George. Thanks! Calculation incorrect Nice tool, I like it. But how is 1/3=.3 in base 12? it's .4! also, grouping all numberals together rather than putting the additional ones on the bottom would be nice.

Eric Engelking August 19, 2013

This has been fixed. Please post if you are having any issues. One complaint It would improve the readability of duodecimal to use the dozenal symbols for dek and el, but it isn't enough of an issue to mark you off for it.

Wow, finally, a Calculator that covers all bases. This is great. Elegant. Simple to use. it's the best "any base" calculator I've ever used. This is a must have for anyone involved with programming or any kind of development involving base calculations. You must add this to your toolset. This calculator should be bundled on all Android phones. :)

Calculator extends the 4 function calculator. It's simple and uncluttered, but gives you access to advanced functions with a swipe. Graphing, matrices, base conversion, and more are at your finger tips, and only when you need them.

Calculator also has a widget, a floating calculator, and 7 (and counting) alternative themes. It also runs on Google Glass.

History:

Calculator was started in June 2012, by Will (myself) and Sean, as developer and designer respectfully. Over 4 months, we added basic support for matrices, graphing, and history, and in October 2012, Calculator became officially included within CyanogenMod (and most custom ROMs soon thereafter). In January 2013, Nick joined the endeavor, redesigning the graph page, hex page, and has, more recently, created all of the available themes. In September 2013, Rudy joined for a short time and greatly improved the matrix logic, adding support for functions, order of operations, and more. And, of course, the vast language support has all been thanks to users. The calculator has been, since its start, open source, and is always looking for more helping hands.

Advice:

Because the app is intended as a full replacement, it's recommended that you disable your default calculator. Go into Settings, Apps, and you will be able to disable it where you would normally find Uninstall (Requires Android 4.1+).

## Binary Calculator

Input of all number systems from binary system to hexadecimal system. Conversion of these number systems into one other and even up to the Base 36 numeral system. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of binary numerals and of all other number systems.

You can enter floating point numbers, too.

You can enter floating point numbers, too.

Addition, subtraction, muliplication and division is possible with these numbers. Conversion of floating point numbers into other number systems is very easy.

Through touching the red number you can easily select the desired number system. You can of course use the binary calculator as a normal calculator for decimal numbers. ;)

And this is how the binary calculator works:

-------------------------------------

Simply set a number for the source number system by touching the red left number. (For example, 8 for the octal system or 10 for the decimal system.)

The binary calculator now interprets all your data entry in these number systems.

If, for example, you would like to add the hexadecimal number A and BCF, the setting of the red left number is already sufficient.

Simply enter “A+BCF” and push “=”, and you have the desired outcome in the current selected hexadecimal system.

When you want to convert the current input to another number system, it is only the red right number that has to be touched. (For example, 16 for the hexadecimal system.)

Press just once on “Γ” and the calculator converts the given number in the desired system.

## Fractional Calculator

A fast, simple, easy-to-use calculator, that adds, subtracts, multiplies, divides and simplifies fractions - an indispensable tool to handle fractions or ratios and for checking your child's homework.

Make fractions fun again!

You never have to look for a basic calculator again as long as you have your phone.

With the calculator you can:

• Add, subtract, multiply, divide and simplify fractions.

• Enter multiple values before solving, for example 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 = 7/8.

• Enter mixed integer and fraction values, for example (2 1/2) + (1 1/4) + 1/8 + 3 = (6 7/8).

• Mix decimal and fractions in a calculation, for example 5.25 + 2 1/2 = 7 3/4. All calculation results are expressed as fractions.

• Convert a fraction to a decimal number and a decimal number to a fraction. 5.25 becomes (5 1/4) or (5 25/100). (5 5/8) becomes 5.625.

• Display a history of your work or your math homework.

• Simply a fraction or a ratio, for example 27/36 becomes 3/4 and then convert to 0.75 or 75/100.

• Master fractions and make peace with whole numbers, denominators, numerators, quotients, division with remainders, and ratios.

• Find lowest common denominator by simply adding two fractions.

• Divide and see quotient with remainder in lowest fractional form.

• Compare fractions. Take the difference between two fractions to learn which one is bigger.

• Work with improper fractions.

• Work with negative fractions or numbers.
