Review from Richard Bach
I just wanted to say what a relief it was - after giving my phone a factory reset - to see that my customised questions and answers and answers history were still there when I reinstalled the app.
At first I was very doubtful this app could help but it proved me wrong. As phone is always with whenever stressful situations come up I can just use the diary. Been using it for for about 4 weeks now and find I'm using it less as it's been helping so much. Recommend this to my councillor for other patients too.
I just spent 45 minutes on a single angry entry and pressing save killed it. Doesn't exist. I did Not touch the delete button, and why is that even there?! Fix this so it saves instead of deleting 45 minutes of my therapy work!
Great Daily Thought Diary in your Pocket It's easier to have something on hand to track a thoughts and turn it around. I almost always have the phone nearby and most of the time can take 5 to use it. Only issue I have is being limited to 6 irrational thoughts but maybe it's for a reason. Also, I do think the graphics could be tidier. I find the colours a bit garish, and can struggle to concentrate. A bit over stimulating. But when I get through to the end of my entry I feel I've got used to it and start to feel better with my situation.
Pleasantly surprised. I started this about 3 weeks ago. At first, I was skeptical, but my counselor recommended that I stick with it. When I first started it, I didn't know how to get myself out of a negative slump. Now, when the negative feelings come on, I do my CBT journaling and the process helps me work through the negative and come out with a hopeful, more positive solution. Thank you so much!
Not super visually appealing, and the password protection does not work consistently. But as far as helping with anxiety and combating negative thinking, this app does the job. You just have to put in the effort and stick with it consistently to see results.
Educational tool I have only used this for 2 days, including skimming some articles it contains. However, it has already opened my eyes to things I do, even more than years of talk therapy. Thank you.
