Fat fingers approved. Seems crazy at first. A little difficut. I did it to force myself to learn something new at 42yo. It helps to type the whole word, rather than use word predict, and play the word games; also, spelling it out first so you know what keys to press before you start. Go into Settings, then Colors, to adjust contrast of special symbol keys to see them better; that's what I did. Really like using it.
After 3+ years of use, I could never return to a traditional QWERTY keyboard. For new users: within one week, I was typing as fluently as I did with a qwerty. There is a learning curve, but stick with it, and you won't ever go back. If only this could be incorporated onto/into a mouse for PC use...
I tried all sort of keyboard layouts, but this is so far definitely the BEST. You could get a little time to get acquainted with, but you'll reach the fastest way for writing. Things to consider is the fast use of almost all special characters, like your language accents and punctuation. Note : it's the best for touch screen keyboards. Some times it's bad it doesn't have an integrated smile icon system, but, anyway... i can't get back from using this.
This is a fast and unique input method for Android. For pure, letter-by-letter typing, there is no faster way to enter text on a touchscreen. It also provides exceptional support for special characters and control characters. It does take quite a bit of learning to get up to speed, comparable to learning to touch-type on a desktop keyboard. One caveat: the completions and corrections are *terrible* (Gingerbread stock keyboard quality or worse), so you will probably do better by turning them off. If this had completions and corrections comparable to the current AOSP keyboard (Lollipop or later), it would probably be the fastest keyboard on Android, period.
Been using this for almost 3 years now. Certainly made typing a whole lot easier. My only issue here is the emojis. Please update!!! and at least make the layout a little similar to ones used in popular social media apps since users are used to those.
There is a bit of a learning curve to overcome but it once you've memorized the layout, it's totally worth it. It will eliminate most of your typos.
