Latest version is totally broken. Frequently fails to load past the title screen and saved games get trashed more often than not, showing just a blank screen while trying to continue a save. Please fix.

Great game ..needs more expansions

Having played the iPad and Xbox versions of this game for years, I figured I'd try the Android version. This version is weak by comparison: No chat. No captured square indicator. Bad synth music. Terrible AI. Buggy multiplayer. A crash on my first quick match. No time indicator. No time limit on moves in the (poorly named) "quick match". This it in desperate need of an update. And this developer needs to stop ruining great board games. Their Catan is also the worst implementation of that great game.

My online game is frozen. Neither of us can make a move. I've tried logging out and uninstalled it as well. No changes. Says there are 691 pieces left in the game.... none of them show up. So now I can never play online which defeats the whole purpose. Furthermore if it doesn't get fixed I can't even play. Disappointed.

Since the latest update it is CONSTANTLY asking if I want to connect to Google Play - extremely irritating. Good game though.

Latest version is broken. Constant requests for connecting to google play is annoying. Unable to remove opponents when playing against computer. Needs to be fixed.

DEVELOPER: PLEASE ADD A CONFIRMATION DIALOGUE FOR THE RESIGN BUTTON. I have accidentally pressed that button twice since I have been playing, and the game just ends, then and there. This is a great electronic version of the board game. Gameplay is just about identical other than some of the options. I particularly like the asynchronous multiplayer mode. It is probably the best asynchronous multiplayer game on Google Play currently.

OK version of a classic game Captures Carcassonne reasonably well, AI seems well implemented, though a bit easy to beat, and there's some good expansions. Loses one star due to limited expansions (no Princess and Dragon even!) and another for online play which seems half baked. I hope the lack of news might mean the license going over to the iOS developer and we get the best possible Carcassonne on android.

Great Game but rules in app are incosistent Works well, fun to play. I didn't have any problems until I realized how the computer players place farmers. The game does not let you place farmers on the side touching adjacent tiles, yet CPs can do it all the time. Let's them score so many points you can't. Make the rules consistent. Both can or no one can. I have lost several games this way.

Good but could be much better Good game but would really benefit from multiplayer matchmaking and in game chat and messaging. It's no good if you don't know someone else who plays. Seems like the game is dead as there has been no updates to the news section in over a year. Wouldn't purchase again.

This is one of my favorite board games for sure, and I appreciate having an app version so I can play on my own. That being said, the AI is ridiculously bad. While I don't expect this to happen, I wish the dev team would improve the AI on Normal mode and also add an Expert mode for those of us who need a much greater challenge.

Fun game good price FYI got this game on sale but immediately purchased dlc for 5 bucks... This game scratches a strategic itch. Ai is a bit easy but not broken. Still works as you can play up to 5 ai players so fair mileage for solo play. Played online with my partner and she loves it. Smooth online play if u know ur opponent. Needs more work on ai and some more expansions

This is a great game, and the app does an incredible job of bringing it to your phone. A few improvements for the online multi-player would make it 1000x better. Needs chat, ability to add friends by user name (that works), turn timer option, and a win/loss record. Everything else is perfect. No bugs that I've experienced.

Good but online play lacks basic features Overall, well made game, but the online play could really use some additional features, such as an option for a play timer, chat, and an easier way to find players for something than 2 player base game (currently you only have the option to invite friends on your friend list to play different game types). Additionally, having your win/loss record saved would be nice. Finally, the computer opponents are terrible (even the 3 star ones) and could really use some improvement.

Update - Happy to discover the game now loads nicely. When I first started using this app it was great. Now I cannot get it to load to the point I can play a game. Even before then, I discovered it does not work while I am not connected. This meant I could not play it during a very long flight. Why has it become impossible to play and why must I be connected to play (when it does work)?

Online account don't work I have not played this for a long time. Today when I want to play online the game crash when I want to login with Google account. OK then I'll try email login instead. Nope, don't remember password, so I press forgotten password. I get "this account does not exist". Ok then I'll try register a new account, but NOo, then it says "already registered". So now I'm stuck. Can not log in with Google, cannot log in with email because account do not exist, and can not create new account because it already exists!

Ever going to update this paid app for us Android users? DO NOT PURCHASE until they fix these bugs. As of March 2017, every game unfinishable due to it becoming corrupted. Error 401 & 403, lack of turn notifications, missed turns for builders... if these issues were fixed, it would easily be a 5 Star app. For a paid app, I expect far better.

Very good and largely well made. Good graphics and smooth play. AI opponents too easy to beat, though there is usually a real opponent online for a real challenge. Plenty of nice expansion packs to add new dimensions to the game. Icing on the cake would be a chat function or a better way to arrange a game with friends made in the game.

Love the game, hate the multiplayer. This is a very nice game, didn't have any issue's with it until started playing online. There is no penalty system for players leaving the game before it ends, and many of the older online players take advantage of that. Was in a game, masive cloister built, last tile was mine and would made me win, the other player leaves the game without placing his last tile (mine was after). If I would resign, i would loose, if the game would end normally, i'd win. I'll give 5 * if this is fixed.

Updates have added functionality overall. As an adaptation of a board game to an app, it's pretty good. There are random glitches and sometimes the scoring doesn't work completely correctly. I wish there was o'clock cross-platform multiplayer, better controls, and portrait mode enabled.

Impossible to play freezing all the time Im a fan of the board game so i just got this with all expansions after tweeking the options with no luck the game seems to freez every turn ...take 30sec to play a turn very disapointed would like a refund a this point

Love the game not how expensive it is First pay for the game, $5. Then discover VERY limited offline play. Expansion pack adds another $5. Oh and to expand the board it's another $1. Total $11. On top of that it has a lot of unnecessary animations that suck away your battery life. Use power saver to help.

EXTREMELY buggy. Majority of game sessions end up corrupt and end without any explanation. Wish I could get my money back. Glad I didn't spend money on the I'm game expansions like some of my family members did. All of us have had issues and no longer even attempt to start a game because the likelihood something will go wrong and cut our game short. Do not pay for this until there are MAJOR bug fixes. Extremely disappointing. Too much time, energy, and money spent on such an unreliable app. Wish there was a way to get a refund.

I love this game and I usually play against the computer. Just one thing I haven't been able to figure out: howcome the computer player makes so insanely stupid moves in almost every game? It might block itself just like that and get no or few points instead of more, no matter what character is playing. Developers could make for example difficulty levels 1-3 where the computer player could make those brainless self-blocking and no-points moves in the easiest level.

Great but buggy Generally plays ok but multiplayer doesn't work well. Was mid-way through an online game with a friend when board went back to showing the starter tile on both our phones, yet our points from the game still shows. We're unable to remove the game from our lists by clicking X or resigning, and now any new online game we start does the same thing and kicks us straight to the leaderboard screen. Pls fix online multiplayer option, will change rating when it works properly.

I love Carcassonne but this app continues to disappoint: I frequently receive a "No network connection." error when I have a strong wifi signal. When playing the AI, I cannot eliminate the default computer player for a more difficult character and must have a 3 player game. Changing my profile doesn't seem to affect my avatar in live games. Routinely have corrupted online games that must be aborted. I'll keep the game for now because despite the annoyances, I can't always play the board game in person and I keep hoping that a future bug fix will make this the app I wish it to be.

Giving feedback is useless The team developing this game is doing nearly nothing for 2 years. Games like ticket to Ride or Catan greatly improved, their multiplayer mode are much better and they have much more expansions.

The game is really fun. App is horrible. Every time I play a multi player game with friends the session gets corrupted and we don't get to finish. Extremely frustrating.

Broken multiple devices There are a few issues that still need to be worked out. I can't play single player and neither can my friends. Uninstall reinstall, only online play works. In the online play, sometimes games get corrupted and when that happens they get stuck in the list of games being played. I can't get rid of them. Even after uninstalling and all the normal steps someone would take to fix issues like this. Please update and fix these bugs!

1. Festival tiles cause the game to freeze. 2. Can't start game with extensions when offline. 3. Doesn't remember previous game settings. 4. Interruptions from AI players can't be turned off. 5. Very, very weak AI. I think it was stronger before the update. 6. In some cases farms are scored incorrectly.

Good implementation of the game, but calculation of fields is broken. Frequently combines fields from distinctly different parts of the map into a single field, making it impossible to figure out before the game ends how big a field is, how many cities it is next to, and how many farmers are on it. Very frustrating, has ruined several games. Fix this, and it would be a five star game.

This is a fun game and transposed wonderfully to android. Fairly straightforward in gameplay and controls, this android version can be picked up by beginners and experts alike. The online portion is enjoyable, as long as you have attentive playing companions. That being said, the game does have its flaws. The AI seems to count tiles and gets suspiciously fortunate with their draws. I've found a few inescapable glitches in expansion compatibility -- I would be happy to list in detail for a developer. If you purchase this app, be warned that it gets more addicting with every expansion, just like the real life tabletop version. I wish this game would stay up to date the latest expansions. My buddy can play Princess & the Dragon on his IOS! I want that! This game is favorable to the real tabletop version for two reasons: NO CLEAN UP and NO SELF SCORING!!!

Nice implementation, weak AI This is a fairly well implemented version of the board game. Sometimes placing followers or rotating tiles isn't very responsive, but it works well enough. The AI is very weak. I have little experience with the board game, but I have never lost a game against the AI.

Great board game port. Many companies put shoddy effort into programming a mobile or pc versiom of their game. This was was very well done. It is very stable and doesn't crash. It js exactly what I was looking for

Great game. Plays well. I have been playing for months but noticed a counting error for the first time when tallying up the score - missed a lone farmer for 3 points. Checked and rechecked and definitely an omission by the app.

Love the game too many glitches though Update- game hardly works at all online now. Wont load or resign. Just freezes. My friends and I all eagerly paid $4.99 for the game and an additional $4.99 for the expansions add on to quickly be sadly disappointed by our games constantly corrupting with so many or few hours in to our games. Also cannot even use our expansion add ons purchased in games with each other, only computer? Very disappointed in these issues as this is the first game I've ever paid for and my free games don't glitch this bad!
