Ratings and reviews

The app is fine, but I absolutely won't use Expedia again as their support is horrible. As other's have stated, they flat out lie and say they have contacted the hotel and the hotel wouldn't help. Contact the hotel directly and they confirm that they have received no communication from Expedia regarding the booking. Explain this to Expedia, with the hotel contact cc'd, and they just keep sending the same generic email back, "Unfortunately, after multiple tries, we were unable...blah blah blah"

the customer support is not helpful. if you paid full via Expedia, the actual service provider can charge extra however they like, book at your own risk. this is not primarily an app issue but partially is. Past bookings are very hidden, so as customer svc#. when you want to provide evidence for bank dispute the receipt provides minimal information. it allows the company to block me from leaving a review to warn others, it allows a company to use a different name to maintain fake high ratings.

I reserved a rental car, and they added additional fees when I arrived, making the rental three times the reservation cost. I decided not to take the car and called to ask for a refund. They never refunded me. So I basically lost my money without receiving any service. Don't use Expedia for rentals under any circumstances, they will charge you at least twice what you were quoted and the won't refund you the reservation money.
