SNES9x is already a top tier emulator, and this android version allows you to use it on mobile devices while having no compromises in functionality. Including support for wireless controllers and having just as much customization as the PC version, all you need to enjoy your Super Nintendo games on the go is a controller and the app. You can use it without a controller but I don't recommend it.

Have used this for YEARS and it is STILL THE BEST EVER!! Does everything you need, runs great, sound is good and the controls are easy to change and use if you want. It has save states if you need them instead of constantly having to go back to a save point in a tough game. You wont be disappointed I promise!!!!

For the most part, it works great with pretty much all of my favorite old school SNES games. However, I do have a complaint about the most recent update: the change to the savestate/autosaves function. Before, it was much easier and more convenient to access from the main menu, and I could easily disable autosaves. Now, I have to go into an extra sub-menu to use the manual saves, and it doesn't seem to be possible to disable autosaves in favor of on-demand manual saves. Please revert this.
