Opinium is a community-based application providing an alternative curation of information by creating new patrons, particularly whose content of discussions and opinions are most useful in the virtual scope.
By means of the feature: “Sinau Bareng”, each user can build their reputations and credibilities through cross-interaction of various fields of study. All opinions and discussions in the “Sinau Bareng” forum can be tested and curated by other users. With an open visual benefit parameter, Sinau Bareng becomes an information interaction laboratory where users can assess how influential the positive impact each user has.
In addition, there is a feature: “Fact Check” in Opinium which allows users to test dubious information. Eight labels of information accuracy are provided as initial identification, so that the process of repair and / or clarification can be done more precisely.
Opinium opens a proof space for anyone to be ready to build the desired identity. This is a challenge as well as an opportunity to be able to involve in improving and suppressing the spread of information disorder. This is also an attempt to create virtual public spaces that are friendly and comfortable for anyone. We imagine Opinium as a unique space in the middle of social media that is increasingly narrowing its stigma towards who conveys, and not what is conveyed.
