True HDR Uses multiple exposures instead of one. You cannot do real HDR with one cell phone image - not enough luminosity can possibly be captured. One issue, though...i told it not to save the originals, yet it makes a directory for them and puts blank files in there when I take a photo. Please fix!
Fundamentally good.. This app has its quirks. I had a problem where my images could not be read by my gallery app but that is an unpredictable problem.. I give it five stars because unlike any other HDR apps I have tried this one has helped me make some of the most amazing images I have ever captured. They can be absolutely stunning! So I'll deal with some funkiness for these amazing pictures. It is an app I truly will never be without. I love this camera app!
Outstanding tool Works way better than I would think possible (I'm a professional photographer) 95% of the time. Originals saved in another directory for further edits, simple. Feature request for a vignette slider please? And perhaps a halo size control, but it's an awesome program as is. My Samsung Nexus is now getting used in preference to little digicams.
Excellent Alternative!! I am a little bit more than obsessive about my photos and the apps I use to edit them. Pro HDR Camera does a wonderful job each time. Be warned though, if it is action shots u are desiring, I wouldn't use this camera, as the subject has to stay relatively still for the ultimate outcome. Great camera!!
Excellent pics but missing timer function This is by far the best true HDR app on the market at the moment. The quality of the pics are outstanding and the overlay matching algorithm is precise. I just have one minor issue is the fact it doesn't have a timer on it which makes it difficult for darker pics and portraits. If this function were implemented would give a 5. I am using a galaxy S4 so am not sure if works on other platforms.
Awesome!!!!! This IS true HDR. Does a good job piecing the photos together. What I like the most is that it keeps the original shots. So you can put it through photomatix or adobe and blend them in more professional software.. Keep the updates coming!! One con is that it makes two copies of the blended shot. One in HDR folder and one in original folder. Which will take up space a lot faster! Suggest keeping it in one location..as of late it keeps crashing when I try and delete pic's.
* Fixed bug where originals were not deleted
* Fixed gallery not updating when pictures deleted within app
* Much faster image capture by default (go to settings and select faster). Works great on the Galaxy Nexus and other new phones!
* Turn off focus before first shot to capture even faster (Remember to focus by tapping the screen before you hit capture in that case!)
* Fixes for issues occurring on some phones
