Gone backwards. Let us choose the default order. And not as screen overlayed on the order you want us to use. And now I can't see the notifications tab from the 'Most recent' screen. And now it ignores my 'open links externally' preference for some sites. Tapping on a friend's comment highlighted beneath a long thread doesn't take me to the comment.
Posting pictures is a pain if you don't want the snapshot from the recent past. If you organize pictures on your phone into folders, the app will show you the most recently modified pictures first, even if you shot them years ago. You cannot make use of any gallery folders you've created to help you find that one picture you want frrom two years ago.
Updated 21 Sept 2017 - LOL, last 80 updates (24 months) "What's new" changes back to " improvements for reliability and speed". It should read "we added in ads in the middle of video playback" and "we will take away things and move them around without putting them in what's new". Auto update is default enabled, which has been known to break itself. Also open links externally is not enforced. Many links are still forced to open in app.
WHY! FIX IT! need the old version. this new update really suck! annoying when we want to search someone/something. and the most important is, WHY ALWAYS ISNT RESPONDING? how many times i need to clear cache and data for nothing? and how many times i need to update in a year? it uses a lot of memory!
The app takes a lot of RAM, so not recommended for 1GB RAM phones unless you have very little apps. It's also a little buggy, but idk if it's due to the lack of RAM. Otherwise, the app is decent, but sometimes it refreshes and takes me back to the top of my feed.
When compared to other social media apps and even 3rd party Facebook apps I feel like Facebook is behind the 8 ball with a night mode. We all want to maximize our experience while conserving our batteries... While you're hitting the major and eye catching, wow upgrades you've neglected the smaller and quality of experience things like a night mode feature or themes for the app
