Messenger lite gets scrapped and I'll be forced to use this instead (or the bloated, slow, ad-filled junk that is the full messenger app). It'd be fine if only I could use it in landscape mode when messaging. Also someone mentioned the blackout issue when scrolling down on a profile. Moreover, the bottom of the screen has a white stripe. It's been there for years, and only in this app.

The app used to work ok about a few months ago. It's a good idea that is either abandoned or very poorly executed. The latest glitch is that I can't edit my posts anymore and smilies show as a question marks. I'm forced now to go back to the full version of Facebook App that I dislike even more, but at least I can perform basic functions in the full version. Until this app is fixed it's not worth it, despite it's very small imprint on your phone memory. Uninstalling mine.

Almost seems abandoned. It's still able to scroll the main feed, but no longer works properly for many other parts of the, uh, "Facebook experience" - for instance, if I tap a reel it'll just flash through all the reels in the list and stop on the last one - anything before that can't be watched. If your device is too low-end for the full version you'll probably be better served by a third-party app.
