Let me list the problems with this app: Bluetooth connection drops consistently, video quality is terrible, can't zoom in properly on pictures, notification sounds are completely gone, you cannot switch between accounts without having to log-in manually, calls drop with recurring frequency, etc. Messenger USED to be a decent program. No longer. Changing your name from 'Facebook' to 'Meta' isn't going to restore a tarnished reputation. This app is a perfect example of that.

I have been having issues for over 1 year and a half now. I have 2 accts. A business page and my personal page. I'm unable to switch between the 2 at times. Running a business, that makes it very difficult to stay on top of messages that may be coming through for my business. Also, I keep getting notifications that I have new messages (sometimes more than 1) on 1 or the other, and when I am finally able to make it over to the other one, there are NO NEW messages. That is so annoying, DO BETTER

Video call Rooms don't work. Can't create one in the app, and if I try to make one through FB, it displays "opening link" message. In my notification bar it then says "tap to return to call - connecting...". Only way to clear that is force stopping the app. Wasn't an issue last month. Sometimes it doesn't even try to connect, it just says "couldn't join the call." Really frustrating.
