I use this app because everyone uses this app. Is it near perfect? No. So... I have suggestions: I'd like to be able to automatically mute people that message me, except a few people I choose. Like an option in settings. Also all the "now added on messenger" is cluttering everyone's inboxes. Lastly, I'd like to be able to back up my text conversations to the cloud so they can be viewed on new phones. And some non-weird color options for the conversations.
I love using fb messenger and wish app my friends loved it too so I could use it more haha. The only reason I gave 4/5 is because when there are a lot of messages, it becomes hard to look back on old messages. The search feature didn't work on my phone also.
Too invasive. Asks too many permissions and allows fb to have full time access to all your phone Info. I uninstall then reinstall when a few notifications so I can check but now it won't even allow me to deny it access to my contacts list
I don't know why but lately it broke to the point where i have to use another device to pick up and make calls. Its very frustrating because i unistalled this app about 3 times already and it keeps doing the same thing. Its saying that its connecting but it is still calling and eventualy cuts off the call. Please do something about it so i can give you better feed back
Why make me waste data over and over again for ridiculous updates that do next to nothing for an app that is not neccesary except they force you to download it to see your messages. Everything about this app is utterly terrible due to the simple fact of it being forced upon you for no good reason. Messages should and used to be viewable in browser. There was no reason to eliminate that. The updates are even more useless
app keeps crashing frequently when in pop out mode. It keeps force closing itself even when I'm in the middle of typing sometimes. Also is there an option to disable message reacts? It's pretty pointless, and more than a few times, during done tense conversations trying to slide down my messages has made a laughing or other react in a really serious conversation. I never intentionally use reacts in messenger and other people seem to have this problem too. Is there a toggle for messenger?
Now you can see your call history and missed calls—all in one place.
