Review from Tracy Green
So convenient! I love being able to just IM instead of having to go though the Facebook app and then through my messages. So much easier! Only issue that I have with this app is that the person who sent you a private message can see if you read the message or not. I think that should be private.- Samsung Galaxy S6
Stand-alone stupidity Why can't this app's functionality be integrated into the main Facebook app? You know, like it used to be. As if the main app didn't take up enough resources, now they force you to install another resource hog.
Absolute stupidity Why cant i chat from main fb app u all are just trying to occupy my RAM as much as possible fb itself takes around 132 mb of my RAM and now this is taking another 80 mb of my ram why one should use fb. Pls pls integrate this into main app.
Made bad changes! Doesn't work as before! I don't have the facebook app downloaded, I assume that's causing the problem! And just using all the phone contacts, I don't like it!! Where's all my old masseges? Pfff ...updated! STILL BAAAAAAAD!
Liking it more each day but doesn't do everything I want... I don't like change, so I didn't want to change my msg app...but I have to say that I am liking this one more each day. Just wish I could get msgs on it that ppl send to my Google messenger app or send to the ppl that only use that app. So for now I am stuck using both and it gets confusing.
New UI not a good UX I don't care about who is active. I care about who I was recently talking to. Accessing recent conversations shouldn't be "below the fold". I shouldn't have to scroll to access the chats, and then scroll again to skip over "people i may know" to access the rest of my conversations.
Grrrr. I hate this. It's intrusive, annoying and unnecessary. I prefer checking messages at my convenience. I have to delete the app to make it leave me alone (or cancel notifications every 24 hrs). I am not pleased that I have to have "messenger" to view my messages.
Now you can see your call history and missed calls—all in one place.
