Nice idea. Faulty execution Supposed to block spam calls. The rare case it does you get multiple notifications. No time saved dismissing those. Answer cards cannot be disabled and do not work with stock answer card. So there are two answer cards onscreen the user has to fight with. If they resolved the conflicts with the stock dialer and toned back the notifications then the rating would be a solid 4.5.
Does not block..especially scammers. Ok, so I had a scam "you won a free cruise" number I did not answer 2 weeks ago. I verified it was a scammer on the net, so I went to the phone number log and "blocked" it. Got the same scammers spiel today. What do you know? The number matches the blocked phone number that called 2 weeks ago. Can't tell if it is succefully blocking other numbers, but you can tell if it's not blocking.
Good Seems an overall decent and helpful app, as long as you don't mind Facebook collecting your call history usage. I haven't had any technical issues so far. More syncing options with your Contacts accounts would be nice.
Useless I set this to only show up for people NOT in my phonebook. Instead, it only functions for people already in my phonebook. I've tried all available settings to no avail. Who wants caller ID for people they already know?
I actually really like this. I often need to look up numbers and addresses on the go and this quickly finds pretty much all I've thrown at it. A few suggestions/requests : dark mode color scheme, ability to view texts recently sent to contact you're viewing (my stock caller and a few others I've tried can do this), the ability to choose which screen opens by default when app is launched.
It's a decent calling application. I like the Facebook profile sync so you know who's calling you. Though it seems like that feature only actually happens one out of 20 callers. The one improvement I want is to not get notified at all that a blocked number has attempted to called me. It may be brief but it will still interrupt any music that's playing and my Moto360 still buzzes.
