Meta Al is built with Muse Spark, the first in a new family of models from Meta Superintelligence Labs. You can use Meta Al across WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Facebook, AI glasses, the Meta AI app and meta.ai.

Ratings and reviews

The biggest issue is battery drain. It's a serious battery hog. It drains 1% every 2 minutes--just running in the background (screen off). It also makes my phone really warm. If I had known the app would drain my battery so much, I wouldn't have bought the frames. The home screen is fairly useless, since they're just tutorials that you've already done when setting up the glasses. Deleting photos/videos requires too many steps.

Image generation is basically broken. No usage counter anywhere, so you get hit with "over the limit" out of nowhere and then you're locked out. I haven't been able to generate a single image for over 12 hours with zero way to see when it resets or how many I've used. 25 per day is already low, but with no meter it's unusable. Add a counter in settings. Ridiculous.

I'm having a great time restoring and colorizing photos. I feel it's important to type "please keep facial features as close to the original as possible" when asking Meta AI to do anything with a photo. By typing that, I have found that Meta AI has worked to keep every facial feature original! It's been great for restoring photos! And you can ask it to make the photo high resolution, so you can print a clear, precise picture!
