Searching specific books could be a little easier. App is very slow at times. Would still be 5 stars, but when I close the app, it doesn't terminate. I have to manually force stop it from the app menu. Makes me less inclined to open it, as it seems to drain my battery in the background. The Lord knows all, why does Gideon need to run in the background like that?

If you want a quick-to-load, simple, and easy-to-use bible app, this is it. It is excellent for sharing the gospel in various languages. The lightning fast speed lends itself well for apologetics. Audiobooks are included, and the text comes with note-taking, bookmark, and highlighting features. A download option allows you to use audio resources offline, and after signing in with Facebook, the text can be used offline too. If the Word is a sword, this would be the sheath on the belt of truth.

It is really an amazing app. Very easy to use. The menu is at the top left hand corner represented by 3 horizontal lines. From here just press on your selection and you are there. It is also an audio book that works very well. One of the things i like most about Giddeons pocket bibles is the section "In time of need" right at the front of the book. And it is the thing that stands out as most valuable to me. I was given one when I joined the service many years ago, and I used it frequently.
