I listen to the word as I fall asleep each night. The timer and nice voice is perfect for that. 4 stars because at the end of every chapter, the voice repeats the chapter number and first few words of the chapter before moving on a reading the next chapter number. A bit abrupt for easy listening but is so forgivable. Thank you and praise God for this app :)

The keyword search is horrible. You search for a word or phrase and it returns the entire book of the Bible and then the word's not even highlighted. No option to download the entire Bible for offline reading only individual chapters at a time. I love my blue softcover ESV Gideon bible and was expecting the same from the app. You're better off getting a pdf and just using the find feature.

If you want a quick-to-load, simple, and easy-to-use bible app, this is it. It is excellent for sharing the gospel in various languages. The lightning fast speed lends itself well for apologetics. Audiobooks are included, and the text comes with note-taking, bookmark, and highlighting features. A download option allows you to use audio resources offline, and after signing in with Facebook, the text can be used offline too. If the Word is a sword, this would be the sheath on the belt of truth.
