I loved this game when I first got it a few months ago. You could unlock specialty characters & expand easily without spending real money, but the options to spend money were also nice and seemed worthwhile. However around Christmas they stopped offering such good rewards for the limited events and stuff. It's sad to watch it follow the same path as all games as they get more popular.

This game is very laid back and has some interesting features. I personally like penguins, and having a game that shows many different species is enjoyable to me. It's fun and very easy to play, the soundtrack is beautiful, and the creatures that are able to be collected are pretty cool. I have not run into any issues, and the game has a lot of things to strive for, like making new habitats for the penguins, or getting chests that unlock new creatures. There are also baby penguins.

I have really enjoyed this game. I'm fine with ads since they really don't make the game feel paywalled. Until, I have hit a research upgrade stage where I have to keep hitting higher total habitat level. It takes me days and days to get through those upgrades. This is almost a game breaking feature since it takes so long to upgrade things now.
