Doesn't Work on KitKat The battle to really own your phone and plan will be a long and strenuous one. I will have to keep going the long way to shut my data down because it really has made my data go a long way. I am an American and what made this country great is inovation and the free will to do whats best for yourself. Not being able to do as I please with my phone is GD Communism! Try 3G On/Off. That one works.
No longer compatible I've used it for years on my Galaxy s3 and LG G Pad with no problems. But since the most recent update to the tablet, it won't work anymore. I also just upgraded from the s3 to an LG G4 phone and it's not compatible with that either. Would love it if there were an update to make it work with my devices or I guess I'll have to find a new data toggle widget.
Stopped working I loved this app until a few weeks ago when it suddenly stopped working. It saved lots of data and was so convenient to turn it off and on with one tap. I guess AT&T blocked it, now I really have to watch because the gremlin in my phone likes to turn data on so it can be slurped up by stuff I would rather use when I have wifi.
Note 2 worked note 5 doesn't work Was in my top 5 most used apps with my note 2 mainly because of Spotify using data when opening the app, recently got the note 5 and the phone doesn't allow 3rd party apps to control mobile data , why it doesn't allow is beyond me if I download it that means I want it and not a choice the phone should control. Was a 5☆ for me now 1☆(would be zero if that was an option) until app is updated. Please update and 5☆will return!!
Marshmallow 6.0.1 problem. Just a heads up, this switch does not work with Marshmallow and maybe not with Lollipop. In these two Android versions, tapping the widget will bring up the Mobile Data settings, that's fine. My experience is that instead of bringing up the settings, a message box pops up saying that the app has crashed. The widget has to be re-applied. It does not work for me.
It can't be fixed on Lollipop (5.0) For everyone saying they will increase their rating after the developer fixes it for the newest version of Android, don't hold your breath. Google simply stopped letting apps and widgets change this setting. There's nothing that can be done to "fix" it, short of rooting your phone and installing something else. Notice this issue is common to all similar widgets.
Compatible w/ Android 4.4.3
