Why even offer this app? Android doesn't allow the shortcut to work on my phone. Makes no sense that Android makes it such a pain to disable mobile data every time you need to. They must be getting some sort of kickback from the data miners.
What happen? I was having it in my samsung s4 active ... and then I change it to samsung note 4 edge and it's not compatible :-( please update
Marshmallow 6.0.1 problem. Just a heads up, this switch does not work with Marshmallow and maybe not with Lollipop. In these two Android versions, tapping the widget will bring up the Mobile Data settings, that's fine. My experience is that instead of bringing up the settings, a message box pops up saying that the app has crashed. The widget has to be re-applied. It does not work for me.
Lollipop killed it The lollipop update for my AT&T S5 Active killed this app. It no longer works. Please fix it.
Not working. No explanation or nothing. I switch on the widget (i think, all it does is turn green) but I can still go online. When I open the icon in my apps list, there's a crummy page with a link saying 'Can't figure out?'. The link leads nowhere. many people rate this well so it may work. Needs a simple manual (in correct English) at least. Uninstalled for now.
Works perfectly. My S5 Active doesn't have a data toggle in the notification bar, and this helps wonderfully without putting my phone into ultra power saving mode. Unfortunate that lollipop 5.0 kinda has problems. (I don't, but other users are)
Compatible w/ Android 4.4.3
