My "Go-To" App! I love this app! I've used it for years now. If I ever want to see what's going on with my wireless I start with this app. I like that it's not nag-ware. In fact, you can turn off distracting ads for several days in the Settings page. More software should be written this way! The main code set has been bug free and stable for years now, which makes it a joy to use. I don't write many reviews, but this software deserved it.
Channel graph not ok after latest update My channel graph is not correct anymore. It should be 48 but now it shows 42. App has become useless for me now. The graph has a width between channel 34 and 50! Hope it can be fixed... Upadte 28/9. After installing new update, everything seems to work fine now. Now there is a new beta feature 'channel width' within the settings menu, nice!
Great app!! Helped me figure out what was interfering with my wifi at home. Using this app to analyze it I could correct it and also find a better channel to use over here. Thnx, great job !!!! Update: Like Rydiak sais "After the latest update, I can no longer use the program to check for which channel is better under the 2.4ghz band" Having same prob here now. Somehow doesn't liveupdate continuously during testing, now and then it does show "better channels" but most of the time nothing or only a few in the range 11 and up and none below. I know from other tests that that's not correct. Hope next update fixes this. Still 5 stars though, remains a great app!!
What's up ? Funny thing! Thought this app was great. However, my wifi has gone down in an outage. No signal at all. But this app shows great signal?? How is that? So I unplugged my power and connection. Still this app shows my service is great! My question is how can this pick up service where there is none. I'm over two miles from any house or system that has wifi. I'm wondering what's up? Any answers? I thank you for hearing my rant. I understand computers and phones. I patiently wait for your reply. Again thank you
Pretty complete I installed this because I was curious how congested my airwaves were where I live. The new channel width feature helped me track down the streaming issues I was having with Chromecast to a nearby router on an overlapping channel.
Latest update broke 2.4ghz rating graph After the latest update, I can no longer use the program to check for which channel is better under the 2.4ghz band. 5ghz still seems to work fine, but under 2.4ghz each AP will list zero stars under each channel, and no recommendation for channel strength will be given.
Show correct channel width if available.
