Still Not Android OS MM v6.0.1 compatible? Have used this Wi-Fi utility app for years, with great success. My AT&T 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy S®6 active was just upgraded to Android OS v6.0.1. It no longer allows you to change access points from within the app. You get a "Failed!" message, each time. Everything else in the app seems to work, properly, however; I can still change networks using the stock Android Wi-Fi tool. Hope there's a forthcoming fix for this. No response from developer. Abandonware? :::crickets:::
Not working on Droid Turbo 2 Will not show any information on a Droid Turbo 2 running 6.0. Shows that I am connected to an AP, but other parts say "No Wi-Fi signal in range." Not sure what's going on. Used to use this all the time. Just reinstalled it, because I needed it on this new phone.
Potent, Visual, Effective, Sig Map! Tested on Droid2&4/SGNote4 with Android 3-6:potent, great visuals, shows AP channel map, strength history plot, similar to once great/free PC v2 version. Later PCv3 free but crippled w/1 WAP plot, few options, ugly windows. PCv4 mostly same but $29. So, Android now best platform even w/ugly ads but PCv2 is still cleanest if you can find it some where. This review is vs need to plot all WAPs in your area to adjust your AP position, antennae, chan assignments .
Very useful tool. This really helped me. The channel I was using was very crowded, and I didn't know. Now my router is doing his job better than ever!
Still not 100% as before. A few updates back, the ads would cause display updates to stop, this apparently was fixed, but switching sections still causes updates to the display to stop, making it unusable. Works fine on my phone, just not on my tablet.
My favorite wifi app I use it always! Friendly interface and nice features. Not very precise, but ok for amateur use.
