Fixed my 2.5ghz signal! My PS4 and all devices in my living room were getting atrocious speeds on 2.5ghz. Like, less than 100KBPS, but after tweaking my channel using this app my PS4 is getting 3MBPS and its amazing. As it turns out, every neighbor of mine has WiFi on channels 6 and 11, so I set mine to channel 9 and my speed skyrocketed.Thank you for this wonderful app.
Useful App Excellent App. I can see what is happening to all the surrounding wifi users channels. But why on each time I use the recommended star ratings to move Wifi setting, the recommended location goes back to my previous crowded location? I would award 5 stars if the recommended channel I move to would show as highly stared as before I move to it. (In fact it shows no stars to any channel I move to!) Or am I missing something?
Truly an amazing and outstanding tool. EDIT: After years, still the best app for the job, with great visual tools that are easy to show, and explain to the uninitiated why their Wi-Fi "is so slow".
It is a keeper. This app is great. The functions I use work. Some of the extras tools for networking are great. I rarely give a score this high. But it works. The reason as of this date, for not being the best, is lack of documentation. The help is more of a faq, than help. Now most apps fail this requirement of mine. If you want to be top grade material, complete documentation is a must.
Keeps crashing on Xperia z2 (5.1.1) I have been using this app for a long time with no problems. It's an Amazing piece of software, however since my phone has received the 5.1.1 lollipop update (more specifically the one that patches stage fright) the app constantly crashes. It does not even open without crashing. When I press the button to send feedback it crashes again and does this three times (always) before the app finally closes. I would appreciate if this could be fixed :)
Excellent tool I really appreciate the layout and ease of use. A very useful tool, thank you!
Android 6.0 compatibility.
