Only just downloaded it. For me personally, this is perfect. I always acknowledge that we are subject to the vaguaries of our national transport systems and therefore only use this as a guide towards which bus, from where and to where. I'll check the times of course, but will carry a small bag of salt. Just in case, lol. Still, haven't used it yet, but have played around with regular journeys I undertake. Can't fault it as it tells me everything I need to know. If it wasn't for the reviews in here, I would not have bothered. So thanks to all those who took the time and made the effort to comment.
One of the worst apps I've ever used. Continually crashes or kicks you into an advert just when you're trying to figure out out a bus time. Absolute joke. You're much better just using your local bus website, lord knows it can't be much worse. I pity anyone who spent actual money on this nonsense.
This app uses timetable information and not GPS, frequently the app tells me the bus is one minute away, and the bus never turns up. After the developers comments and further busses not arriving I decided to email them as per the advise given, and found the email address given does not work.
I am disappointed with this app given they have removed the West bus tracker and merged with the UK Bus tracker full of adverts every minute or so. Please remove the adverts if you replace an application which was advert free. I do not feel it is acceptable to offer a small payment to remove adverts from a previous advert free app, hence only 2 stars. If I were to pay, I would like improvements such as notifications on bus stop for 5-10 minutes, real time tracking (seems easily to implement as you have the predicted arrival time at the bus stop), in-built Twitter feeds from companies such as Megabus, First, etc. Again poor application, make it advert free or add features worth paying for.
This app used to be really great. Now 80% - 90% of the time instead of giving real time updates on the buses, it just gives a standard time of when the buses are meant to be there. This is useless as buses are NEVER there when they're meant to be there, so real time updates are essential. If I want to know when the bus is meant to be there I can just look at Google Maps! To test this app I stood next I stood at a bus stop with a board that had real time updates on it but this app still just told me what time was meant to be there. This app really needs fixing or I need to find a different bus checker app that actually works!
Far more accurate than the app for the local bus company, but by no means 100% accurate. Could be an issue with the buses themselves. Took me a while to work out how to use it properly, not as intuitive as some apps. Feedback would be to be able to bring up a particular bus you're following as an external notification if possible.
