It's my friends and companion through the years helps me control my diet. Simple Interface and it's have practically any food you can think off (at least for Russia). Don't try to lay on common sense! Write down your food and see the real nutrition you consume. Recommend!
With some minor tweaks this could be a lot better. Had sent an email with suggested edits but got ignored. One of the older versions was much better and a lot more intuitive. Also, would be nice if there was an addition of a mid-morning snack, and a mid-afternoon snack category. Or at least an option to add that those categories; there are people who are working out and having six meals a day.
I have used my fitness pal , but this app is so much better. I have my menu set at classic view as I'm not interested in Sharing meals or looking at other people's profiles. But for those who like social media I know why they did it and it could be fun if you want to share your profile meals etc. Getting down to the meat of the app it is very very easy to navigate through it's a pleasure to use. I wish all apps were as user friendly. I love the fact that I'm not bombarded with advertisement good job keep up the good work!
I was loving this app till my update today. I had a temporary problem, but it's working again, will try the modern view, but like that we can change back to classic. This has been a great help to me through the years. I can come back, sign in, and continue! I'm a diabetic, it helps to track those carbs and calories to best control the diabetes!
Remember when this app was really good at simply keeping track of the calories in and out each day? Now I open it up and see 'featured' messages from people I don't know or care about. Must everything have some kind of social media aspect? And must it be shoved down my throat? I just wanted to count calories... I don't need to get intimate with anyone to do it.
First impression: For goodness sake change the Menu selection (under settings which is under username) to CLASSIC. The "Modern" menu is a mess. Hint: When you add a food, you can use the camera (upper right corner) to scan UPC codes. That may be mentioned somewhere but it's not obvious. That seems to be the nature of this app: Useful features buried.
- Simplified app navigation with a new menu to help you get around the app quickly and easily.
- New home screen showcasing the best content from the FatSecret community.
- All activities including exercise are now contained in a single journal.
- Change your app settings to "share with everyone" and your photos can be featured to the community, or to switch back to classic mode for the old version of the app.
