The FedEx app's Watch List works for just some of my shipments, but not all. After adding the 22 digit track # multiple times & adding to the watch list, I finally just give up. Also, would really like to upgrade packages (with a reasonable fee) from Smart Post delivery (which I can easily do on their competitor's app), but can't seem to locate that option on this app.
I am a casual FedEx user and find it convenient to track my limited shipments. I recently purchased a Samsung tablet and find the app will not run on my tablet (Samsung Tab A). The PlayStore indicates "Your device isn't compatible with this version." Since the tablet is an Android tablet, I would expect it to be compatible. I'm still rating the app as a 5 from the perspective of my smartphone and I hope FedEx will release a version compatible with tablets (or my tablet).
When I get notified by a text message of a package being shipped to me on an Android Smartphone ZTE ZMAX PRO running Android 6.0, the text message wants to use the FedEx app, but when the app opens up it can't see the tracking number from the text. The only way it works is if you go through the Chrome browser, then it see the text I received with the tracking. Really glad I downloaded the FedEx app? Erased it because all it was doing was taking up space on my phone.
I liked that it would automatically notify me of shipments I was receiving. But now I'm somehow logged out and it won't let me log in. So now it's virtually useless. I can't reset my password because that service has been unavailable for weeks now. No point in keeping it. This is why I always use UPS.
Just tracking app. "Make label" just a link to clunky "lite" mobile site, no way to add reference field to know WHAT you sent. "Exceptions" list doesn't include packages that disappear, fall off truck, go beyond reasonable delivery date, just weather delays. kinda useless "exceptions". No dispute button for overnight packages that took 2 or 3 days to deliver. No pending view. No to do list. Invasive permissions.
Worst FedEx... They use customer information and deliver to them without any invoicing. Today they have delivers one parcel to me with no invoicing which I never ordered Worst part is they using my personal information my address name n phone number Will file a legal complain against them ... I NEED MY MONEY 990.00 BACK
