Saves the planet After one week and getting familiar with it, I have disabled a built-in browser, and uninstalled another one I downloaded plus two apps that rhyme with space hook. Saving incredible amount of memory, power, and data on excessive size and frequency of downloads. If everyone used this, global warming, smog, and tasteless light beer would be history.
Amazing browser. But, please, make the default (out of the box) search box duckduckgo, it doesn't track you like google does not track you and it can send you to other websites with bangs, example: !g sends you to google and !yt Sends You right to YouTube to search
Web 2.0 without losing control I found myself turning js on and off to improve ux in other browsers. I was choosing no content over dealing with popups before this browser.
Does what it says on the tin Fast! Ad free! Tracker free! Address bar pop up while scrolling even at moderate speed is annoying (I speed read)but only because it locks up the page til you click elsewhere, but I'll get used to it. Hell, almost any annoyance is worth it for this level of speed and functionality. I'm not very tech savvy and can't figure out how to get to the customisation menus etc, so I'll be using it as a speed browser rather than as my go-to, but hey, maybe that will change once I've had time to have a play with it.
Best there is Why aren't all webbrowsers like this? Minimal and only to serve the user, thanks Dev for caring about our privacy. (by the way the no image thing implementation is genius)
I really like it, not only because it is really fast and lightweight, Im liking the interface too, having bookmarks and expandable history on the new tabs is really really convenient, and some good extra context options when pasting and opening links etc, thanks to the developer, I wish more devs would focus on performance and functionality (in the sense of doing what its supposed to do, not hundreds of bullshit "features"), keep up the good work! Edit to add.. a small improvement I think would be to have the address bar autohide once a page is 100% loaded after pressing a hyperlink, so that you can immediately see and use content right at the very top of the page, its a minor annoyance having to press elsewhere first to hide the address bar, and obviously if it was a major hit to performance (I dont see why it would be) then its ok as is, but I think it would make things a bit more fluid if possible :) Thanks
