Naked is the mobile browser to get! Finally one that takes mobile browsers a step forward. It's efficient and easy to use and stays out of the way like it should. You can limit amount of tabs and it has a minimalist UI with mobile centric features. Development is rapid and focused on what's important. The terminal green globe icon us a bit much, but that's the only flaw I'm able to point out. Edit: I have used this for years and nothing else has surpassed it.
I am completely blown away by how well implemented this is. It actually makes web surfing fun again and removes the need for Adblock (which causes many sites to complain at you these days) or other solutions that require a rooted phone. Thanks so much for this.
Superb Would like an option to have new tab open on the left, rather than new tabs open on the right progressively. Would like to see bookmarks saved in a universal file format such as .html rather than than the format that can be opened only by this browser. Moreover a sync option for bookmarks is needed. Nevertheless, all other browsers are gauche compared to this one.
The best reason to stay with Android All tablet no phone (well, flip) so I should move to Apple or MS - but no ... Naked couldn't follow
Excellent browser thanks! Enjoyed the free version so decided to upgrade and I'm glad I did. I like the speed and simplicity of the app and would recommend to anyone, especially if you have an older phone (though I also use it on my much more modern tablet as I like the interface). The developer is also very helpful and responsive. The only suggestions I'd make are very minor: including a customisable settings bar and having an option to ensure the url bar and tabs are always displayed.
Perfect - almost A little frustration with "unknown URL scheme" and having to use another browser to open page - not sure why that happens?
• bug fix: image policy setting would be ignored sometimes
• workaround for keyboard not showing after video, newer Android [Thanks Damian R. for reporting this]
• tiny tweaks
• improved physical keyboard support, including Alt/Ctrl + M to show menus
• set Double tap & up/down gesture action to "system default" for system one finger zoom, newer Android versions
• new option: Bottom tabs & URL
ANDROID L & M: After updating System WebView, reboot your device to avoid strange glitches.
