The professional altimeter with automatic altitude detection that works even without an internet connection!
With the professional altimeter application you will be able to know the real altitude of the place where you are. It automatically shows the altitude through a complex algorithm that uses three detection methods together:
- Via satellite triangulation (functioning even without internet connection)
- Through the altitude on the map by taking the altitude of the land from your position
- Through the pressure sensor (if present) calibrated with the nearest weather station
Very accurate graphics proposes an analog altimeter (in meters or feet) with digital measurement.
Here are some features:
- Automatic altitude measurement (possibility of manual setting even with one of the three measurement methods [Map Altitude, Flight Altitude, GPS Altitude])
- History function with memorization of the route on the map and altitude difference graphs [also works when the app is closed] with indicators of speed, average speed, increase in altitude.

This altimeter assumes you are an altimeter savant. It tells you things in meters with no choice of options. It asks questions without a place to answer. It jumps right into sharing photos as if the mastery is already there, and I couldn't even get a reading. It launches without the participant. I couldn't spend time on it because it's for experts. It even told me that I could put in my altitude so I could calibrate... I do not know my altitude! That's why I wanted the app!

Works as advertised. To those complaining of differing elevations at each viewing, of course the elevation changes, especially since it gets data from satellites...as the satellites move, the preciseness changes. As far as coupling the app with barometric smart phones, unless you can adjust the altimeter reading on the device as the pressure changes, it'll always be inaccurate. That's why before every flight and during flight the pilot has to adjust his altimeter for changes in barometric pressure or the altimeter won't be accurate. I know this after being a military pilot for 18 years. This app can never be exact but then you won't find another one that is, either.

Was Nice Until The Full-Screen Ads Hit. I like the app overall. It has a fairly easy to use and understand layout. The only thing that didn't seem to work correctly is the altimeter "reset" button. It would reset to zero and then a second or two later go right back to the previous altimeter reading, leaving you without a way to track the difference in change. I understand having the banner ads at the bottom of the screen but the full page ads along with their sounds are too much. Uninstalling.
