Good overall, but some of the desktop features would make it even better From the perspective of monitoring and managing my existing positions, nothing beats it. The widget makes it easy to take a glance at how my portfolio is doing, and trading is easy. I can also get a lot of performance information about what I'm working with. It could be improved though, if it integrated the research filters found on the desktop version of this. As it is, I can't access what in my opinion is Fidelity's most powerful research tool on mobile.
Needs Time Weighted Return I expedited better from Fidelity. Overall this app accomplishes what you need when it comes to trades, transfers, and research, but the interface is by no means intrusive. My biggest grievance is that Fidelity does not prove information on time weighted return, only daily account changes. Additionally, Fidelity has yet to integrate the Android fingerprint scanner for quick login and secure.
Pretty, but lacks fingerprint authentication I personally enjoy this update. I find the overall UX better than before, but the feed is mostly useless to me. I don't understand how you can have Touch ID support on iOS for months and ship this "revamp" for Android without fingerprint authentication. If you want users to check their accounts on a regular basis (so, you know, you can sell them more of your services), make it so they can do so easily, conveniently, and securely. 3/5 until this critical feature is prioritized in your backlog.
Good, but could be better. Needs fingerprint recognition update asap. Also (and this is just for me personally), Id love a more streamlined shot to my quick view balances..like it was. I dont like having to open the menu, then push accounts...and then finally hit the quick view option. Not so quick anymore. Takes as long as a sign in. Hence the 4 *.
News Feed is annoying The app does some really great things. The latest update adding the Feed into it and making the Feed the first thing you have to see is horrible though. I want account info first not news. Why make it harder to get to my data??
Worst banking app ever I've had a couple of banking apps and Fidelity's is by far the worst. It takes over 2 minutes to take two simple pictures of a check, the feed is glitchy, annoying, and unnecessary. The app has crashed multiple times when doing simple tasks -if it even opens properly. The interface is cluttered. This makes me want to leave this bank because I do a majority of my banking via my phone and never has it been a problem until now. Fidelity, take some tips from Bank of America because their mobile app is ideal.
