Really good app especially compared to some of them out there. User friendly, good information and research. The news feed can be tightened up though. Way too busy and way too many different news sections. That can be consolidated and the news stories from each category can be put in one section rather than broken out. It would be great to personalize the feed more and change the order it is shown and remove things. That's the only change everything else is great.
Pretty disappointed in this. After reading the reviews online for a good mobile trading platform, I am now convinced that Fidelity paid for positive reviews or they only reviewed the iOS version. This app is so far behind other trading platforms on Android its incredible. No fingerprint auth? No realtime updates you have to refresh the screen and it still never matches active trader pro sometimes the numbers are wildly off. Getting after hours or pre market updates does not seem to work at all. Do not put money in Fidelity if its because of the good mobile app reviews.
This app desperately needs a device pin or fingerprint authentication. Signing in with your secure account password every single time you use it is utterly awful user-experience. Also, it'd be nice if I could customize my default view. Let's be honest, I just want to see my portfolio positions when I sign in. I couldn't care less about the news feed.
Keeps asking me to login just to see my account status which should be without needing to provide a password. I see the Oops message every day. Fidelity should stay up to par with the rest to add fingerprint. Very disappointed!
The app has come a long way since I've had it. It's clean and easy to navigate. Only issue I have is that it fails to load my balances before logging in. Says it can't load the content.. this is one of the main pieces of functionality I would like, so that's why I deducted a star. Running this on a Nexus 5X with 7.1.2 and strong wifi connection. I did validate to make sure the quick balances feature was on.
Has most features, good for an app. But doesn't have some of the basic info, such as net overall gain/loss, which they do on the desktop site. I feel like that's something basic to have in an app.
