Trim Explanation:
Almost all Android devices use NAND chips for data storage. Because of how NAND chips work, they may become significantly slow after some time. Trimming would help to restore NAND Chips performance to their initial value. Although Android 4.3+ supports trim natively, users have no control over this process and Android doesn't trim the storage for a very long time.
"Trimmer (fstrim)" helps you to run trim on your device manually if you feel it has become laggy.

if you don't run this app (or similar) on a regular basis (each reboot/daily), your device's internal storage becomes cluttered with unnecesary files, which will ultimately negate overall system performance. not having it is like your hard drive being featured on an episode of 'Hoarders'. you know, the place where all your important data lives. it literally takes about 2 seconds to run this app.

This app is very simple and easy to use, but it does require root. It helps reduce the lag spikes on my phone quite a bit. It would be nice if I could have it trim every 3-6 hours or so though. Also want a dark theme. Thank you for making this app, you help me keep my S5 snappy.

Simple and great tool. MUST BE ROOTED! this helps if your moving data frequently on/off/ of your device (apps, music,movies,etc /or switching roms often) This tool is built into a few paid apps, but as a simple standalone one it's perfect.
