A basic application which allows you to enter a list of names, select from this group and then swipe the teapot to start it spinning. Randomly decides which person should make the tea round.
The app keeps statistics on how many drinks each person has made. The menu allows you to either clear the stats or completely wipe every user from the database.

A Participant is a person who belongs to a group. From the Home screen, press the first button, we can see the existing participants and also create new ones. Participants will have a name and an associated image.
A group is a set of participants and used as a basis for Pots. From the Home screen, press the second button, we can see the existing groups and create new ones. To create Groups need to enter a name and select at least one participant. On the Create/Editing screen we can select the Group participants by pressing the 'Existing' button or by clicking the 'New' button. If we make the second option will create a new Participant had not been previously created. In this screen there is a button where you can see details like Group summary and image button where you can attach a photo Group. Before leaving, do not forget to press the Save button to save your changes.
A Pot is the main element of the application and as mentioned, will help you effectively manage all events organized by your group. To create a boat we have two options:
1) From the home screen, press the third button and it then the option to 'New Pot'. Then you have to type a name that you define and select the group that will participate in the movements pot.
2) If after creating a group we want to create a pot, from the list of Groups (We press 'See Groups' option from the second button of the screen) click on the group where we will create a pot associated with this group. You only have to enter the pot name.
Once created, from Pot screen can display the total Pot balance, the associated Group and Participants thereof with the balance of his personal balance on the total balance of the Pot. Clicking on each of the Participants will see the selected Participant´s individual movements.
A Movement is a money transfer that alters the total balance in the pot. This can be positive(Income) and negative (Remove ):
1) Income: When is an income, as mentioned, add the amount for the balance. The concept Income contain the Participant who issued that.
2) Remove: When it comes to retire, as mentioned, reduced by the amount corresponding to the balance. In the concept Remove contain the summary of the reason for having withdrawn the amount in the pot.
Additional notes can be added in both.
- From the Pot screen Movementes can perform by pressing the first button (Movement).
- From the second button (Record) will see a list with the summary of all the moves made so far. If you press a movement can eliminate or see more details on it.
- From the Pot screen, in third button (Distribute) we see de movements that should be done to finalize the Pot. It also lets you remove the Pot if the event for which you signed up, is over.

A graphic organiser helps students to plan the different parts of their writing (paragraphs) by breaking a recount down into simple parts that are easy to understand. As a teacher I have encountered many students who struggle with this transition.I've seen first how students, particularly those with learning difficulties, can gain confidence and a clear understanding of what they need to do by using a visual planner such as the 'Writing A Recount' organiser.
A different page is dedicated to each of the three paragraphs in a recount; establishing the setting, recounting the main events and evaluating the experience. Students fill out each page and then a summary is created to help them begin their piece of writing. Each page is highly visual and can be read aloud to the students. If students are having trouble finding the right words they can reference the 'Word Bank' for help.
Students can choose to follow the step-by-step instructions or complete the planner in their order of choice. This tool guides students by suggesting how they should structure their work, what words they should use and assists them in thinking about what their audience needs to know. Once all of the sections are complete they are presented with a summary page which can be saved to the tablet's photo gallery and emailed to a computer for printing.
Also included are links to the Narrative Writing Teacher's Resource Pack on the Hatt Designs website. This pack includes suggestions on how best to utilise this app in the classroom or home environment, as well as printable notes for the students.
This graphic organiser is extremely easy to use. Following the onscreen prompts, students plan their paragraphs. At the end of the process the students can view a summary of their planner which they can use to write their essay.
Students or teachers can choose what subjects and events the student will have that day at school. They can then also select the time by typing it in above the subjects. Students and teachers can also tick off the subjects or events that have been completed. This application has been designed for students with low-motor skills in mind.
Each task is assigned to a station, and as a student completes a task they can move their train to the next station. Occasionally the train drivers may be a little too eager to move to the next station, but the supervising teacher or parent can always press the brakes button to go and revisit a task. Once the train has visited all of the stations the user will get a special surprise!
