First version was better... I really don't like the way the app had been "beautified," the text is so small, that it's hard to read. I'm only 32, that should not be a complaint from me! Also the entire app requires so much more loading time than it used to, and it's quite laggy. This latest version won't even load the login screen for me, it tells me to either call a number or try later. I'll just go login from my laptop. It's just very disappointing that what used to be a wonderful, and very easy app has gone so downhill :(
Alerts would be cool New customer. Seems like a good app, smooth interface, amateurish design with text and stuff. I really was surprised to see no options to set balance alerts!! Maybe i didn't check the right place or something, but I think it would be helpful to have alerts when a large payment goes through, a large deposit comes in, or if balance falls under a certain threshold. Just my thoughts
Even newer update no better The older Verizon before the "prettier" one came out was extremely stable. Now, even after several incremental fix updates, the new version still lacks the operational crispness it had before. I tried to deposit a check on a brightly lit windowsill in the sunshine, and the app wanted "more light.". This used to be a fairly automatic process that's now turned into a multi step, 2 handed process that's far from flawless. Still getting an occasional server error...
Deposit I like the update of the new look but something is seriously wrong with the picture deposit. No matter how good the lighting, it refuses to work and I have to manually do it and it still says the picture quality isn't good enough. Please fix this
One of the best banking apps. I manage 4 different bank accounts with mobile apps, but I like this one best. It's extremely user friendly and has a good look. I love using the photo capture bill pay. The mobile deposit feature works great. I appreciate the fast clear times on deposits. Some banks hold check deposits for days. Good job 1st bank!
Garbage The amount of time it takes to load any part of the app is absurd. I might as well just go home and get on my laptop. This happens regardless of whether or not I have full bars on 4G or full Wi-Fi. Other than that the app is well designed and intuitive (other than the small "ok/done" buttons in the top right corner of the small window when you confirm a transaction, which doesn't make any sense), but what's the point if it only works half the time?
