Authors Getting Draconian Authors becoming draconian with license checking. Limiting CPU cycles makes it virtually useless, you could've given me some warning before a 12hr flight. EDIT: Instructions as per Q32 of the FAQ didn't resolve the issue. EDIT: Able to correspond with the author who pushed out a patch to fix the issue
Good speed, but crashes and issues. I will say that this emulator is very good, but it is not without issues. Right now the emulator crashes when playing StarGunner for an extended period of time, and while games run at full speed, the video is incredibly jittery and runs at far less than 60fps even when frameskipping is set to 0. This is for all games. I'm using an NVidia Shield Portable. I hope this issue can be fixed.
very good but not perfect Works wonderfully, took a long time and a lot of computer genius to get daggerfall working on my samsung galaxy note 10, but it does work. I managed to get the game up and running just fine. However, I do experience some random crashes (save often) and some cpu intesive places lag quite a bit. These issues are not app breaking though. Good app, has room for improvement.
Good, but not for me Using an LG G4, you'd figure I would have enough hardware to run the games alright. I've been trying to get Fallout Tactics to run, followed instructions and such, but it's no way playable. Only reason I downloaded this was to play Fallout Tactics. Oh well.
Controls are Horrible Every game that I load up requires more time setting up the controls than I actually spend playing the game. More than half of the time I just give up because the controls just won't work. Nostalgia is great, but the frustration of trying to get the controls working is not worth it. For instance, I tried playing Ultima Underworld and even if I could get used to the horrible emulated controls, the emu makes me walk backwards constantly. Uninstalling this program
Best DOSbox on Android I've found I use this all the time to play some of my old school, favorite games (like X-Com). There were some GREAT DOS games that are easily on par with a lot of mobile games out there today. I get occasional crashes running X-Com on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 Pro (running Cyanogenmod 12), but it doesn't happen that often, and I think that it has a lot to do with the specific game you're playing (otherwise I'd have knocked off a star). Thank you for bringing us such an awesome emulator!
