YET AGAIN THE FITBIT APP UPDATE HAS STOPPED MY FITBIT SYNCING. FOR GOODNESS SAKE GET IT SORTED! My Fitbit stopped syncing on 9th February. I have tried everything including uninstalling the app, turning the phone off, checking the settings on my phone last, making sure the Fitbit is fully charged and nothing going has worked
Love the app however I now have a notification stating that fitbit has "lost access to status bar notifications" when I click it it says that giving access allows the app to read ALL my notifications and even respond to them or delete them! I DON'T WANT THIS but you are not able to delete the notification. Fitbit already has access to post notifications and now wants to see all my notifications! Fix now please!!
For the love of all that is holy, have the phone cache my fitbit data! Browsing through my performance from day to day is a slow nightmare... every new day going back in time I have to wait for a server sync. It's annoying and unnecessary! Are we talking 10 floating points per day? I.e. nothing. Fix it and I will change to 5 stars.
Since you've updated the app, the stupid thing won't disappear from the notification window, saying that I need to allow Fitbit access to status bar notifications!! I DON'T WANT TO GIVE YOU ACCESS TO MY PERSONAL NOTIFICATIONS, FROM MY PERSONAL PHONE WITH MY PERSONAL DETAILS ON IT! AND I DON'T WANT YOUR APP TO HAVE THE POWER TO TAKE ACTION ON THOSE NOTIFICATIONS! I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH EXERCISE I DO DAULY AND THAT'S ALL!! Please disable the constant notification because IT'S STRESSING ME OUT!! Thank you!
I'm loving the app and watch itself... but I'm not liking the fact that you can only have one notification choice between whatsapp, messenger or sms can please make it all 3 as I use all 3 in don't know when I get messages sometimes till it's too late
Would give more stars if I didn't have to give permission to read my contacts and messages sent to my phone in order to sync now.... very disappointing I have had a fitbit for almost 4 years and now might be looking for a new step counter if new notification requirements don't change.
