Review from Hope Larocque
Synced first try.. Yeah.. The app works with my Samsung Rugby Smart phone through Google Play and bluetooth. This is great and will help a lot. I am new to fitbit but so far I love it. No matter what phone you have, this might work for others too.
Good interface but missing one thing for me Nice and easy to manage my device, and for encouraging general activity and water intake through the day it is great. The only thing I wish was there was an estimated distance for running activity: calories are there for that particular activity but not distance. Distance is only mentioned in the summary for the day so far combining everything that has been recorded. At the moment I have to switch to my calculator and work it out myself.
Accurate and easy to use I bought my fitbit after using the misfit version for awhile. The advances between the two are outstanding. I already prefer the fitbit because of the many different goals I can set for myself and the accurate sleep tool. On the misfit I had to "add" sleep patterns when i took a nap outside of the sleep pattern settings. The fitbit picks up information a lot better! I've already started adding my eating habits to my weight loss goal and soon figured out what i need to change. The app is very user friendly.
Very impressed I am really happy with the improved look of new Dashboard. Previously I was with Microsoft B2 and that Dashboard looks very much childish.. Converted to fitbit and loving it.. The Only thing missing in fitbit is ability to input specific weight sessions, such as biceps, chest, legs etc. Otherwise Dashboard is fantastic and the actual tracker is not bad either. Thank you design team.
Only casually syncing/rt monitoring after reboot/reset or reinstall This is driving me nuts since June. Don't refer me to the help pages I know how to do it. Everything fine with iOS on my iPad and my mobile works awesome with any other app on bluetooth. 3 different Ones all the same. Please fix the errors before designing new interfaces. For reference Android 5.1.1 on SM-GF800F
sync ive had my fitbit Charge HR since june and ive never had a problem with it syncing to my phone till the last update. I have the samsung galaxy note 5 i have my bluetooth and location on and it still wont sync ill re rate it to 5 stars once i can sync it. I love my fit bit its given me motivation and it sucks i cant see it on my app HELP! Tgank you in advanced
Really liked my Charge - worked perfectly for 10 months but then completely stopped - something to do with the Recharge connection on the back of the tracker. Replaced and upgraded to an Alta which I did like. However with a small wrist and the longer vertical face it never felt secure and after 4 days I lost it. Just fell off. Now considering next move.
*The new design of the Fitbit dashboard is now available for preview
