Review from Dirt Piler
Network Operation Failed New update causes Network Operation Failed trying to log in to fitbit application on galaxy s3. Worked fine before update.
New Update is Garbage. I have had my Fitbit charge hr for over a year. I have never had any problems syncing my device to the app. However since the new update my device does not sync to my phone. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I have tried unpairing and repairing and it now reads that it cannot connect to my device. I do not want some computer generated troubleshooting suggestions, and I do not want someone telling me to contact the Fitbit IT. My time, like others, is valuable, and I don't want to waste it. I want the app to be fixed, so myself and other users no longer have this problem.
I just got my Charge 2 a few days ago, and I love it. It syncs up quickly aswell. Everything is pretty acurate and works as it should. I only have 2 little problems. Sometimes, when tracking my sleep, it will say that the first/last part of me sleeping was being awake. How, I don't even know. Also, with the number of floors. I live in a bungalow. If I am not well, but want to keep moving, I can't achieve number of floors, because I don't have any. I don't know how you would fix this, but it's great otherwise.
I'm disabled and often don't feel well. I used to be very active riding my bike 25 Miles a day or walking 6-7 miles a day. I did dance videos or work out videos so this lifestyle is very different. There are 2 major reasons why I like this 1st it helps to see I'm doing something! 2nd on the days I'm not showing even a mile walked I can see I met a goal of water intake which helps with my self-esteem. Also I can go back and say to the doc, hey I wasn't feeling good this day or that because I can see my activity wasn't where it normally was. It's easy to understand. It was easy to sync with my phone. I'm very pleased. One last note I had something very close to this with WW and I loved it but you have to pay to use theirs. If you buy it it definitely will help whether you are an exercise junky or just trying to improve your mindset.
I would definitely recommend this app as it can tell you what friends have got in their daily steps and can see if you have beaten them or not! It also tells you what your average amount of steps are throughout the week along with calories, sleeping and how many stairs you have gone up! I also like the way everything is set out and it looks great! 👍
It is great and functional so far. Happy with all the features. But I'm wondering if the sleep tracking only tracks sleep patterns. Jawbone brand actually used your sleep goals to take it upon itself through custom alarm settings, to detect when to wake you at your most optimal time while you were close to naturally waking.
Worked great for one month before the calorie tracking section starting freezing the app and it stopped showing my "in" calories. The only way i can enter them is the quick add. The other methods cause it to freeze. Then, despite what I add, I says I have eaten zero calories. Other parts of the app work great. Please fix this.
