I compared 10+ apps for weight training along the following criteria: popularity (number downloads), ease of use (searching exercises, making exercises favourite, compiling bespoke routines based on specific muscle group), video and picture guidance for exercises, functionality to have intervals between reps with alarm, large database exercises. THIS APP CAME OUT TOP WITH ALL ABOVE TICKED. only 1 missing feature: no cloud or browser backup (?)
I like this app. It gives you flexibility to design your own workouts or use built in workouts. You can create supersets or single exercises as part of your workout. It also let's you set rest time between sets/supersets and between exercises. Allows you to track weights used as well. My only suggestion is if i could go back to record weight after an exercise or workout. You can only do it for the current set or super set. If you forget to record weight, have to wait until next workout. But i think this is a great app overall.
Seems good so far. Better than any other workout app I've tried. I really like how it shows the workouts, great for someone that doesn't know any actual workouts with weights and machines. Hopefully tracking my daily workouts on here will get my staff sergeant off my back! Seems a bit buggy though, the profile part won't let me load a picture, just keeps stopping the app.
My issue with this app is that they dont have all the workouts that I do. This wouldn't be horrible if I could write in my own or even make a note on the workouts I do create. If that was an option then this app would be perfect. That being said, I love the app for the fact that there are images with the workout as I can never remember them just by name.
Great app, the timer is great. Videos and descriptions are well done and helpful. It would be great if the database of exercises was expanded more, or the ability to add other exercises. It would also be nice to edit a routine on the fly, other than just weight and reps, for instance change an exercise or add while performing a routine. Price for premium is a bit high for mediocre content.
A lot of great exercises for each individual muscle group. If all you want out of it is ideas, then go for it. You have to pay for all but two of the exercise programs. Which are generalistic bs. I suggest being able to program my own individual routine, preferably with reminders. Just tossing ideas here.
