Love this app, I ditched MapMyWalk and got this one, it is easy to use and it doesn't log me off every week like the other one. Maps are sufficiently detailed, the app labels mile points. Battery use is low and the phone doesn't get bogged down by this app. It accounts for elevation calculating the calories burnt. You can easily add photos and notes to your workouts and share with friends or on Facebook.
I've been using this app since 2011 and it was great up until it's most recent release. Now it takes a solid minute for the app to actually start an activity and I despise the new during activity interface. I also find that now half my activities don't actually load to the Web and when I try to resend they 0 out and I lose my GPS tracked map. I'm hoping the next release is better but it may be time to find a better app. Also on the most recent release it un authorized all of my external app connections so I had to redo all of them
Nice job RunKeeper! This new release has all but ruined the app exclamation point it doesn't keep track of the audio cues are requested to an update when I don't act it too and sometimes I can't even put it on pause so my clock just keeps on ticking even though I stopped at a red light or something. It's a shame I've been using this app since 2012
I desperately want to give this 5 stars, especially since I paid for the premium service. However... Everytime my run uploads to Facebook it says I have run .1 miles in 1.13 minutes, or something similar and it will make that post twice per run. There is obviously a bug of some sort and I can not find where to submit I have a problem. It's just frustrating.
I still get some reminders as "Good weather, go run" or something similar. I can't turn off these kind of notifications, fortunately they're rare. Also, I have trouble with Auto-pause (LG G4/h815). I like the app for its functionality for Pebble smartwatch.
This was a great running app until the most recent update. Audio cues got completely messed up (alerting every 10 seconds despite being set for every .5 miles and I know it's hard to believe, but I was not actually running 200 mph). Made it unusable during my run. Fix the issue and I would bump this back up to 4.5 stars.
