Works great. Love the encouragement. It's like a virtual high five when I go a little farther or faster. Since I don't really have any running friends to celebrate with, I adore these virtual posts on the back. They encourage me to keep going, even if it seems hard to get up on the dark and cold or summer's heat. I wish there was a way to do intervals and see place inside the interval instead of just by mile /over a graph. Looking for a program that does this well. (The one I used to use ceased after an update.)
Not perfect, but really good. Logs all kinds of exercise, not just running. Collects meaningful data from hr monitor and GPS, or just hr monitor. Use with a schosche rythym plus. Website and training plans are a little confusing. Custom workout plans are great. Customer support is helpful if needed. UI in website is a little confusing, particularly nomenclature. Good app. Would like to see certain interface improvements, but as of right now I'm happy.
*Edit* After several emails with Runkeeper Support, issue has been resolved! Thanks!!! Since last two update it won't let me post to social media with photo I shot & added during run. During run I get some nice views. Afterwards I have a view of a brick wall and when I go to share, Runkeeper® wants me to "take a photo" - uh...
I use it to record my walks. Latest version has crashed on a number of occasions losing the current walk. If you switch to another app and then back to Runkeeper it takes around 20 secs for the app to update itself so that you can view current stats or mark the exercise as complete. Fix these 2 issues and is happily revise my review to 5 stars.
Great app, which I have used for training for a few years now. My only gripe is that voice cues won't change on custom workouts, even though the option is there. That aside, a great way to mix up and track trainings.
I'd collected thousands of kms with this app and got some extra motivation. Managed to invite many friends and make the workouts as virtual team around the world. There are some small bugs, but I hope the developers will fix these soon.
Introducing a brand new Android Wear 2.0 experience! Leave your phone at home. You can now track a run with a GPS-enabled watch alone.
All stats tracked with your watch will sync with the app on your phone. That means you’ll be able to see mapped routes after you save.
