You may get better specialised app but this one is a very good all-in-one!!! What I wish for future release, more info on smartwatch, customizable. Heart beat chestband connected to watch so I can run with a real good heart beat with my watch only. Also, running on a preset route has become cumbersome. You now need to go in setting for selecting a route! :(
I like this app because it's good to motivate you to get to the next level you want to be not only that it pushes you to push past your goals from what you did on your last run. when I first started I can only do about 2.9 miles just over 30 mins and now I can go 3.5 and kill the time at 25 mins or under and my time per mile is great this app is awesome. Definitely recommend it if motivation and challenges is what you seek.
Tried the Go version so I can put in a training plan for a race. Crashes when I attempt to submit training plan or freezes up. Now says there is no internet connection even though I have checked three times to verify my phone is connected to the wifi and has no connectivity issues. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling three times with no change. This is on a droid phone.
I liked it for some time. The one week trial for "Go" gave me positive vibes. I bought a year long subscription hoping it would add value. But I am not able to map my runs to the plan from the computer. I raised a ticket and nobody responded. The latest update replaced all the expert training plans with the standard Asics plan that is anyway available for free in "My Asics" app. I don't know what value I am getting from the expensive subscription. There is no in-app feedback and I had to come write here. Hope somebody notices and gives me a refund
This is my fav training app. But lately it has been giving me wrong distance tracked on my runs. "Fix GPS" function showing right distance but doesnt save the results. Please advise!
You distance tracking has been consistently in error lately. When walking known courses it gives very false data. I walked less that 2 miles (known course) and gives credit for 2.7 miles Says I walked a sub 10 minute mile. Please correct the errors.
Introducing a brand new Android Wear 2.0 experience! Leave your phone at home. You can now track a run with a GPS-enabled watch alone.
All stats tracked with your watch will sync with the app on your phone. That means you’ll be able to see mapped routes after you save.
